Compensation: Salary range is $75,000-$80,000/yr.

Position Summary
The Training Manager is responsible for ensuring that all staff are provided with the necessary training and training hours required by the various licensing and certification entities

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Training Manager will perform duties including, but not limited to:
- Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program’s mission, values, and philosophies.
- Develop and maintain an assessment system for training needs for all Family Case Managers and other staff.
- Provide a method for ensuring that all staff have been provided with the necessary training hours as required by the licensing and certification entities.
- Provide a regularly scheduled orientation and training calendar.
- Maintain all the necessary documentation required by the National Youth Advocate Program.
- Develop a system for the National Youth Advocate Program continuing education program.
- Develop and coordinate the staff training curriculums and monitor their implementation.
- Develop and implement a training model for child welfare case workers and team leaders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field. Master’s degree in social work or counseling is preferred.
- Three years’ experience in the human services field required.
- Direct experience in child welfare is preferred.
- CORE trained preferred.
- Child welfare supervisory experience required
- Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
OTHER SKILLS
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Openness to some travel as needed
