Personal Carer (Care Companion) | Blue Care | Sunrise Beach

• Location: Sunrise Beach Aged Care Facility

• Remuneration: $36.32 per hour + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances + Employee discounts

Your part in our BlueCare team

As a Personal Carer(Care Companion), you’ll provide care to your residents in accordance with the Household Model of Care, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:

• Daily living assistanceincluding showering, personal hygiene, help at mealtimes, general mobility and laundry

• Providing carein accordance with their individualised Care Plan

• Supportingwith community based recreational and social activities

• Advocatingfor the residents while providing them with choice, fostering skills and encouraging engagement

• Contributing to household tasks as needed, including plating and serving meals during mealtimes, undertaking light spot cleaning, and assisting with cleaning and washing of dishes after meal services

What makes a difference for us?

• Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification

• Experience with technologyincl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc

• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

• NDIS Workers Screening or willingness to obtain
