Healthcare Assistant – £13.00 per hour – Full Time/Part Time

Location – York

Full and Part Time hours

£13.00 per hour

RGH Global is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-managed, established residential care home with a strong reputation for delivering high standards of person-centred care.

Our client is seeking an experienced and professional Healthcare Assistant who takes pride in delivering compassionate, dignified care and values working within a structured and supportive environment.

The Opportunity

You will play an important role within a stable care team, supporting elderly residents with their daily living needs while promoting independence, comfort, and wellbeing.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality personal care with dignity and respect

  • Supporting mobility and safe moving & handling practices

  • Monitoring residents physical and emotional wellbeing

  • Accurately maintaining care records and documentation

  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and senior staff

  • Contributing positively to a professional team culture

This role would suit a Healthcare Assistant who is reliable, attentive, and committed to maintaining excellent standards of care.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 6 months recent UK care home experience

  • Confident supporting elderly residents

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • A professional and dependable approach to work

  • Full right to work in the UK

Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Applicants must currently reside in the UK.
