Help Australian families take their next step - Sometimes the best customer conversations start with listening.

As part of our Aged Care program, you’ll speak with Australian customers who have already made an enquiry or requested a callback about aged care options.

You’ll take the time to understand their situation, ask the right questions and support them through the decision-making process. These are warm leads, so your role is to build trust, guide the conversation and understand what each customer needs before qualifying them for our specialist team.

What you’ll be doing

  • Contact Australian customers who have enquired or requested a callback about aged care options
  • Build rapport quickly, listen carefully and ask thoughtful questions to understand each customer’s circumstances and what type of care they may be looking for
  • Guide the conversation to gather important information about their care requirements, location, budget and where they are in their aged care journey
  • Explain the Aged Care Decisions service clearly, helping customers understand what happens next and answering questions along the way
  • Assess whether the customer meets the qualification requirements and, where suitable, progress them to the specialist team for the next stage
  • Accurately record customer information and call outcomes while maintaining strong schedule adherence

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in a sales, customer service, or solutioning role
  • Strong listening skills and a genuine curiosity about people
  • Confidence to lead a conversation while showing empathy and patience
  • A consultative approach focused on understanding needs, not high-pressure selling
  • Reliability and a commitment to your roster and scheduled hours

An important point on availability

Our Australian customers need support throughout the year, including during the Christmas and New Year period, so availability during this time is important.

Skills First Process;

At Symbos, we focus on the skills you bring, not just your resume. Whether you have experience in customer service or are looking to step into a new challenge, we want to see what you can do.

As part of our process, you will complete an interactive skills assessment through Vervoe. This is your opportunity to experience real job-related tasks and showcase the strengths beyond your resume.

If you have a laptop or PC at home, let us know in your application and we will send you the assessment to complete in the privacy of your home, if you don’t have access to a device, that’s ok, we will invite you to our office to complete as part of the application process.

Keep an eye on your email including your junk folder, so you do not miss out on the chance to join our team.
