Scope and Purpose

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Card Team Leader to join our team. This role is responsible is to reinforce the Transformation of Card back-office operations and enabling more efficient resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the successful delivery of ongoing strategic projects and the whole transformation of this area.
• Acting as the primary point of coordination between the operational team and the various project stakeholders.
• Providing guidance, coaching, and training to team members across all card operations (ATM and POS) to ensure that they become competent for all processes of the team in order to ensure contingency in case of staff rotation.
• Ensuring operational continuity and timely issue resolution.
• Overseeing and closely monitoring all daily Cards Reconciliation activities.
• Coordinating and supervising the ATM/POS Reconciliation, and Chargeback processes.

Main Requirements:

• Extensive experience in card operations, particularly in Cards Back Office, Visa and Mastercard schemes, reconciliation, settlement, ATM and POS operations.
• Strong knowledge of chargeback processes and rules, ensuring effective handling of disputes, compliance with scheme regulations, and optimization of operational performance.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities, with proven experience coordinating operational teams, driving transformation initiatives, implementing automation projects, and managing change.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives, solve complex operational issues, support decision-making, and ensure business continuity through effective coaching and knowledge transfer
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Italian language knowledge is a plus.
