Cardiovascular Sonographer

Location: Brownwood, TX
Salary: $63,000$70,000 per year
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Relocation Assistance: $5,000 for applicants relocating 200+ miles away
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift, Monday to Friday

Join our team as a Cardiovascular Sonographer, where you'll perform diagnostic cardiovascular examinations and deliver exceptional patient care in a collaborative and professional environment. You'll play a vital role in identifying and assessing heart and vascular conditions, contributing to life-saving diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic cardiovascular exams as per physician orders and department protocols.
• Generate preliminary reports for physician interpretation.
• Document procedures and manage electronic records.
• Communicate critical findings to Cardiologists and referring physicians.
• Collaborate with team leaders to address workflow, significant findings, and equipment issues.
• Maintain equipment and ensure quality performance during procedures.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma.
• Experience: 1 year of on-the-job training or graduation from an accredited ultrasound school.
• Licenses/Certifications:
• Required: RDCS or RCS (Adult Echocardiography) or RVT or RVS (Vascular Sonography) within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification.
• Skills:
• Expertise in cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures.
• Proficiency in operating ultrasound systems, PVR, BP monitors, and computer systems.
• Availability for on-call hours, including weekends and holidays.
