This role is hybrid and requires 3 to 4 days a week onsite.
The Compliance Manager is responsible for supporting the Director and/or Vice President in compliance management throughout the division and/or a department. Job objective is to assist the organization/department to meet the regulatory requirements and support quality and integrity efforts. Responsibilities include assisting with interpretation of federal and state rules, laws and regulations; identifying and resolving compliance related issues; developing and implementing compliance work plans, policies and procedures, and activities; monitoring and auditing division and/or department functions against regulatory requirements; educating staff on compliance and regulations; and communicating to staff and key external stakeholders compliance issues or regulatory and/or legislative changes.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as a system resource on national coverage determinations (NCDs), local coverage determinations (LCDs), and other regulatory requirements impacting cardiology and peri-op procedures.
• Consultant to service line and division leadership and key stakeholders on regulatory affairs, compliance, and reimbursement integrity.
• Collaborate on policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting body standards.
• Research, interpret, and disseminate updates on targeted regulatory changes from compliance affecting perioperative and cardiology services.
• Support leadership in identifying compliance risks, developing corrective action plans, and building quality improvement initiatives related to procedural services.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or Risk Management (Preferred)
Certification/Licensure
No specific certification or licensure requirements
Experience
3 years of risk management experience (Required)
3 years of health insurance industry experience (Required)
3 years of compliance experience (Required)
