Job Description

STATUS: Full time

Mon - Fri; 7-330, 8-430, 1030-7 or 7-530, 8-630

Sign-on Bonus: Up to $20,000

Performs and assists cardiologists in performing angiographic procedures, obtaining films of good diagnostic quality while providing maximum comfort and safety to patients undergoing these procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Patient Care Perform radiography of patients in all assigned areas; maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts; provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology; provide excellent patient service

  • General Maintenance Clean, restock, and prepare rooms on a daily basis

  • Documentation Ensure concise and complete documentation of patient exams and related procedures, utilizing the RIS/PACS and inpatient charts as necessary

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Two years college certificate or equivalent

  • Required Licensure/Certification Skills: NYS license in Radiologic Technology & ARRT (R)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) certification through ARRT - Preferred

  • 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.

  • Strong computer, customer service, and communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
