
The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale University School of Medicine is seeking board eligible/certified radiologists with expertise in cardiothoracic imaging for a faculty appointment on the Academic Clinician or Clinician Educator Scholar track. Academic rank at Yale School of Medicine will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements.
The Cardiothoracic Division at the Yale Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging has a track record of providing highest quality, timely and up to date cardiothoracic imaging using state-of-the-art equipment. The members of the Division are extremely highly valued by all collaborating clinical colleagues for our subspecialist expertise. We provide cardiothoracic imaging services across the Yale New Haven Health System and are now looking for new skilled attendings to join our team of 13 cardiothoracic radiologists.
The Thoracic Section within the Cardiothoracic Division has a close working, interactive relationship with world-renowned pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons, oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and subspecialists in other fields of medicine.
The Cardiac Section within the Cardiothoracic Division, is comprised of both Radiologists and Cardiologists who jointly offer all aspects of cardiac CT and MRI Imaging,
The educational mission of the Cardiothoracic Imaging Division extends across all levels of learners and for both radiology and cardiology trainees.
Sessions will be performed at Yale New Haven and at Bridgeport Hospitals, the latter being an affiliate of Yale-New Haven Health, located in vibrant Fairfield County, Connecticut, just outside the New York metropolitan area.
Board eligible/certified Radiologists with expertise in cardiothoracic imaging are encouraged to apply. Strong clinical leadership, teaching and service development successes may be used for promotion to Associate and Full Professor. Leadership roles and other opportunities for professional development are available depending on the applicant’s interest, goals and experience. A commitment to teaching residents and fellows is also required.
