
About the role
The Cardiac & Vascular Institute (TCAVI) is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our cardiology team in Gainesville, FL. This is a clinic and hospital blend role — you'll see a wide variety of cardiovascular patients alongside experienced cardiologists and APPs. New NP and PA graduates with a strong interest in cardiology are encouraged to apply. Mentorship and structured training provided from day one.

What you will do
• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in clinic and inpatient settings
• Perform rounding, consults, follow-up visits, and patient education
• Order and interpret EKGs, labs, imaging, and stress tests
• Develop treatment plans collaboratively with supervising physicians
• Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation
Qualifications
• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Florida NP or PA license, or actively in the process of obtaining
• Cardiology or acute care background preferred — not required
• New graduates with a genuine interest in cardiovascular medicine are welcome
• Strong communicator, team player, patient-focused
