The Division of Comprehensive and Preventive Cardiology within the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking an outstanding BC/BE general noninvasive cardiologist to join a high-volume, physician-led practice in a premier tertiary care academic medical center. A successful candidate will provide both outpatient and inpatient care, contributing to a three-shield practice model that integrates clinical excellence, education, and scholarly activities in accordance with the Mayo Clinic Model of Care.
The expected practice profile includes a robust outpatient continuity practice in comprehensive and preventive cardiology, inpatient general cardiology service coverage (typically no more than 8 weeks per year, commensurate with departmental staffing), and active engagement in teaching medical students, residents, and cardiology fellows. Scholarly and research activities are expected and well-supported through the Department's extensive academic infrastructure. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across disciplines and care teams is imperative to our practice.
Preferred Subspecialty clinical expertise in any area of cardiovascular medicine. The position does not include CV imaging.
Eligible for an Arizona medical license and board certified/board-eligible in Cardiovascular Diseases.
Broad clinical expertise in the evaluation and management of a wide range of cardiovascular diseases in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Demonstrated dedication to medical education and scholarly activity.
