Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Cardiac Surgeon to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex cardiac surgeries and providing comprehensive care for patients with cardiovascular diseases. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough preoperative assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients requiring cardiac surgery.
• Perform a variety of cardiac surgical procedures including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair/replacement, and congenital heart defect corrections.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Manage postoperative patient care to optimize recovery and minimize complications.
• Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, risks, and recovery expectations.
• Engage in clinical research and contribute to continuous improvement of surgical techniques and patient outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of residency training in General Surgery and fellowship training in Cardiac Surgery.
• Board certification in Cardiac Surgery.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience performing cardiac surgical procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of cardiac surgical techniques and best practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills under high-pressure conditions.
• Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and participation in cardiac surgery research.
