Job Description

We are seeking a proficient and dedicated Cardiac Surgeon to join our specialized cardiovascular team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex cardiac surgical procedures, diagnosing heart conditions, and providing exceptional care to patients. This role demands a blend of surgical expertise, compassionate patient interaction, and teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment focused on delivering outstanding cardiac healthcare services.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient evaluations and diagnostic tests to determine surgical needs.
• Perform cardiac surgeries such as coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repairs, and other heart-related procedures.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care ensuring favorable recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures, risks, and postoperative care.
• Participate in clinical research and continuously update skills with the latest advancements in cardiac surgery.
• Maintain meticulous medical records in compliance with healthcare standards.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
• Completion of General Surgery residency and Cardiac Surgery fellowship training.
• Board certification in Cardiac Surgery.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in cardiac surgical procedures.
• Expertise in a wide range of cardiac surgical techniques and practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and make critical decisions.
• Valid medical license to practice.
• Commitment to ongoing professional education and clinical research.
