As a Cardiac Specialist within our Digital Physiology team, you will play a critical role in analyzing, reviewing, and processing cardiac data collected during clinical trials. Working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of ECG and cardiac safety data while contributing directly to patient safety monitoring and clinical research excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform interval duration and heart rate measurements on digital and paper ECGs in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
• Review, evaluate, and place digital calipers on ECG waveforms using validated measurement methodologies.
• Utilize approved software tools to convert cardiac image data into analyzable formats and verify conversion accuracy.
• Calibrate and scale ECG images accurately to support high-quality cardiac measurements.
• Process and analyze cardiac safety data from continuous Holter recordings and other cardiac monitoring systems.
• Extract and manage protocol-specific 12-lead ECG timepoints and ensure data is accurately transferred into designated databases.
• Evaluate ECGs for potential safety findings and escalate alerts in accordance with established procedures and timelines.
• Perform Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM) processing and quality review activities.
• Prioritize assigned workflows and process cardiac safety data in accordance with operational priorities and study requirements.
• Participate in quality assurance programs to demonstrate and maintain accuracy, consistency, precision, and repeatability of measurements.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all assigned work activities.
• Identify and report system performance issues or technical concerns through established support channels.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance workflow efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with departmental procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

What We Look For

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Cardiac Physiology, Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Research, or a related field strongly preferred.
• ECG certification or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, electrophysiology, and cardiac physiology.
• 1 to 2 years of experience within an ECG Core Lab, cardiac monitoring environment, clinical research setting, or other regulated healthcare environment.
• Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), data privacy regulations, and quality-controlled environments preferred.
• Experience reviewing, processing, or analyzing ECG, Holter, ambulatory cardiac monitoring, or related cardiac safety data preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, database systems, and web-based tools.
• Ability to work independently while demonstrating sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing precise, high-quality work.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and perform effectively in a metrics-driven production environment.
