
Responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiogram exams using a variety of
ultrasound equipment. Exams are performed in a professional manner demonstrating
technical accuracy and cognitive sonographic skills to identify and record appropriate
anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images. Reports critical findings to reading
physician for interpretation when indicated. Assists with the collection and analysis of
data for accreditation and quality improvement purposes. Maintains ultrasound
equipment and work areas. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Graduate from CAAHEP accredited ultrasound program
Registered Adult Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), and/or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI)
Registered in Adult Echocardiography
BLS upon hire or within 3 most post-hire
