The Cardiac Sonographer must meet one of the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree or Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited sonography program. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Or
Graduate from a non-programmatically accredited cardiac ultrasound program with a minimum of one year training in cardiac ultrasound including 800 clinical hours.
Licensure or Certification:
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) in Adult Echo required before start of employment.
Minimum of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification accepted.
