Responsibilities

  • Continuously observe cardiac monitors to detect arrhythmias and note any changes relative to each patient’s acceptable parameters.

  • Promptly report significant changes to the patient’s nurse and Patient Care Coordinator (PCC).

  • Perform assigned clerical duties to support the cardiopulmonary team.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment, including proper care of equipment and supplies.

  • Promote cost-effective healthcare through the appropriate use of supplies and resources.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and the successful completion of a cardiac dysrhythmias course.

Skills:

  • Able to accurately interpret cardiac dysrhythmias.
  • Basic familiarity with computers preferred.

Pay Range

USD $22.32 - USD $31.90 /Hr.
