
Cardiac Device Nurse (RN)Days - PRNBell Hospital
This role is PRN. The nurse is expected to work 10 hr shifts, 7a-5:30 pm.
The Cardiac Device RN is a licensed registered professional nurse who is a clinical expert in cardiac device management and provides ethical, evidence-based, safe, and compassionate nursing care. The Cardiac Device RN focuses on patient safety and the quality of nursing care by identifying and clarifying patient needs related to cardiac device, conducting education, promoting patient advocacy, coordinating healthcare services, and evaluating patient outcomes. The Cardiac Device RN will assist with coordination of care amongst disciplines and departments including but not limited to General Cardiology, EP Cardiology, Advanced Heart Failure, Primary Care, Acute Inpatient Care, PeriOp, Oncology. The Cardiac Device RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care by completing thorough, competent interrogations and reprogramming of implanted cardiac devices in the inpatient and outpatient settings. The Cardiac Device RN will assist in coordination of care and device optimization throughout imaging studies. The Cardiac Device RN is responsible for triaging remote transmissions and programming recommendations for patients undergoing therapies that may impact the device.
