Job Description

ChristianaCare is currently recruiting for a highly motivated and skilled Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in our Cardiovascular Critical Care Complex (Medical).

Responsibilities in the unit include admitting and managing multiple critically ill patients in collaboration with intensivists, fellows, and residents. The ideal candidate for this position is comfortable working in a high acuity, fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy. It is preferred that candidate have at least 1 year of critical care experience, but new graduates will be considered. Formal individualized onboarding and orientation will be provided.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physician Assistant must be a graduate of an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program and have NCCPA Certification

  • Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification required

  • Preferred minimum of 1-year critical care experience, will consider new graduates

  • License or license eligible for the State of Delaware

  • Prescriptive authority and controlled substance license for state of Delaware

  • Federal DEA

  • ACLS certification

Annual Compensation Range $122,903.00 - $154,147.00This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
