
Directly responsible for the maintenance, functioning and operation of all x-ray equipment in the department. He / she will be working closely with a team of nurses and doctors during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. The successful candidate will be required to work some flexible hours to cover occasionally some late or early cases as well as be a part of an on-call rotation during off hours, weekends and holidays for emergency (e.g. STEMI) cases.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB:With positive moral standing as well as good organizational and communication skills and able to work as part of a teamAt least a High School diploma or equivalent with an Associate Degree or Certification in Radiologic Technology; A Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field is preferred but not a must.Must have a current Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.)Must have a current NJ DEP Licensure to practice in New JerseyMust have a current BLS Certification Successful completion of department specific orientation and department specific certifications including Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) to be completed within the 3 month introductory period.
