The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
FT position(s), D/E, 10-hour shifts, on-call responsibilities (must live within 30 minutes of the hospital for STEMI/Emergency on-call). Become part of an exciting multidisciplinary procedural team caring for adult patients with cardiac and vascular conditions. This is a growing field focused on the treatment of coronary artery disease, structural heart conditions, peripheral vascular disease, as well as heart failure management. Provide direct patient care and demonstrate effective critical thinking skills in a fast-paced, high-volume procedural environment. Assist in the management of acutely ill patient population presenting with acute coronary syndrome, cardiogenic shock and advanced heart failure. Critical care experience preferred, cardiac and/or applicable medical/surgical experience required (minimum of 1 year, 2 years preferred).
