Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our multidisciplinary cardiac care team. In this role, you will provide expert anesthesia care to patients undergoing cardiac surgeries and interventions, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive preoperative evaluations and develop individualized anesthetic plans tailored to cardiac patients.
- Administer anesthesia during cardiac surgeries, including complex and high-risk procedures.
- Monitor patients’ hemodynamic status and vital signs using advanced techniques such as transesophageal echocardiography and invasive monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Manage intraoperative challenges and promptly address anesthesia-related complications.
- Provide post-anesthesia care with effective pain management and monitoring during the recovery phase.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in cardiac anesthesiology and participate in continuous education.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited residency in Anesthesiology.
- Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesia is preferred.
- Valid medical license to practice anesthesia.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cardiac anesthesia.
- Proficiency with invasive monitoring and cardiac anesthesia techniques.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure and in complex clinical scenarios.
