Who we are

The mission has started. We proudly announce that we are starting the ramp up of our own cell manufacturing in Valencia. In this, the tasks and requirements of operations are varied. Operations takes care of all production related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities vary from planning, constructing and rolling out the forthcoming battery cell factories. Furthermore, planning and implementing operating functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also key elements within the area of operations.

The Security CardService Expert is responsible for defining, managing, and controlling physical access to the company’s facilities, ensuring that all employee and external personnel badges comply with security policies, legal requirements, and internal procedures.
The role plays a key part in protecting people, assets, and company know how by ensuring proper access configuration, secure credential issuance, and effective management of associated PKI digital certificates.


Your role and key responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

  • Access Definition and Management
  • Define, configure, and maintain physical access profiles for employees, external personnel, contractors, and partners in accordance with security policies and established authorization levels.
  • Ensure assigned access rights align with role, location, duration, and business need, applying the principle of least privilege.
  • Validate access requests and verify that they include the required authorization prior to activation.
  • Badge Issuance and Management (Employee and External) Issue, renew, modify, and revoke identification badges for employees and external personnel, ensuring the accuracy of personal and access data.
  • Manage different types of cards (employee, external, temporary, replacement) according to established procedures.
  • Control the full badge lifecycle: issuance, renewals, replacements due to loss or damage, and deactivations at the end of employment or contract.
  • Ensure compliance with internal identity verification and documentation requirements.
  • PKI Certificate Management
  • Manage the registration, issuance, renewal, and revocation of PKI certificates associated with physical and/or logical access systems.
  • Ensure proper linkage between PKI certificates, access cards, and user identities.
  • Monitor certificate validity and proactively manage expirations to prevent operational incidents.
  • Collaborate with IT and Digital Security teams to ensure correct PKI integration into access-control platforms.

Compliance and Governance

  • Ensure all access and credential processes comply with internal policies, legal requirements, and audit standards.
  • Maintain up to date and traceable records of granted access rights, issued badges, and managed PKI certificates.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and evidence.
  • Identify deviations or misuse of access rights and escalate according to established governance procedures.
  • Operational Support and Continuous Improvement
  • Serve as the point of contact for incidents, inquiries, or requests related to access and credentials.
  • Collaborate with other Security areas to ensure integrated access management.
  • Participate in improvement initiatives related to access control and identity management processes.
  • Contribute to the standardization and optimization of Card Service Center tools and procedures.
