The Card Dealer is responsible for the accuracy and professional, proficient manner in dealing a specific table game according to the company’s policies and procedures, and in compliance with Gaming Regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the protection and control of the game being dealt.
  • Conducts the games in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, handling guest transactions and notifying Pit Supervisor(s) of any irregularities.
  • Advises Pit Supervisor of any guest disputes or arguments that may arise during the game.
  • Informs Pit Supervisor of any relevant facts regarding specific guests and their action.
  • Maintains a professional, friendly, and courteous atmosphere providing the guest with a pleasant gaming experience, notifying supervisors of all of guest’s needs.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are applied consistently, equitably, and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Must attend and be certified in all applicable training programs required.
  • Must be able to pass all department test according to table games standards as outline in the Department Policies and Procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • The minimum age requirement is 21.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must possess strong mathematical abilities.
  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, including guest service.
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL

  • While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand for entire shift, talk, hear, walk, sit, and to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in a noisy, smoke-filled, fast-paced environment.
  • The noise level is moderate to high on the casino floor.
  • Exposed daily to flashing lights and ringing bells.
  • Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

REPORTS TO: Pit Supervisor / Dual Rate Pit Supervisor

SUPERVISES: None

HOURS: The casino operates 24/7. Schedule, shift, and hours will vary.
