Job Description

Non-Cleaning Vehicle Service Attendant (VSA Non-Cleaning) is in the business of supporting the team of VSAs who are ensuring that every car is clean, safe, and ready for our customers to thoroughly enjoy.

On a day-to-day basis, Non-Cleaning VSA employees are on the front line of operations by assisting the VSA team to direct the safe flow of traffic in the lots and on the ramps, provide supplies, and to also make sure that we exceed our customers’ expectations for customer service in the lot. Our Non Cleaning VSA employees will assist customers with any vehicle needs as it relates to in car features like Bluetooth, GPS, radios as well as car seat installation. Having the right car, at the right place, at the right time for our customers is also the Non Cleaning VSA employee’s focus as they deliver clean cars from the ready stalls to dispatch for waiting customers; as well as terminal drive backs for our Platinum customers and those with special needs. To be a Great Non-Cleaning VSA you need:

  • An ability to maintain a safety focus and work in a safe manner
  • Commitment to the highest level of customer service and creating a great customer experience
  • Attention to details in a fast-paced environment
  • An ability to learn, service and operate the features and functions of a wide variety of vehicles.
  • An ability to efficiently and effectively meet the quality, delivery, and performance goals of the position
  • A good eye for vehicle conditions that are out of the ordinary and sound judgement to know how to address these problems when they arise
  • A desire to take pride in a job well done that results in a great rental experience for the customer

Skills needed to be a Non-Cleaning VSA:

  • Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles
  • Must be 20 years of age with a valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record
  • Ability to read and understand verbal instructions
  • Handle a variety of hazardous materials
  • Ability to assess and make judgements about vehicle readiness
  • Communicate features of our vehicles to our customers
  • Excellent customer service skills
