Jim Pattison Toyota Downtown has an opportunity for an energetic, reliable, and organized Car Wash Attendant to support our Service Department. In this role, you will be a key part of ensuring vehicles are clean, well-presented, and ready for customer delivery or pickup.
This position is open to individuals without prior automotive experience who are looking to put their foot in the door and begin a career in the automotive industry. It is an excellent entry-level opportunity for those who are eager to learn, build hands-on experience, and grow within a professional dealership environment.

Location: 1290 Burrard Street Vancouver, BC V6Z 1Z1
Schedule: This is a full-time, permanent role of 40 hours per week. The regular schedule will be Tuesday to Saturday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Pay Range: $21.00 per hour.
This role reports to the Fixed Operations Manager of the dealership.

A Day in the Life
• Maintain and monitor the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of our customer vehicles, including exterior washing and interior cleaning
• Maneuver, arrange, and relocate guest vehicles with care
• Ensure any potential issues with vehicles or the dealership property are promptly reported
• Safe use of tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies
• Ensure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer information
• Participate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environment
• Other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
• A valid BC Driver’s license is required, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract report
• Previous experience in the automotive industry is considered a strong asset
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions is preferred
• Strong customer-service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• This is a physically active role and requires the following:
◦ Frequent walking throughout the dealership building and lot
◦ Walking and/or standing for long periods
◦ Frequent operation of automatic and manual transmission vehicles
◦ Washing vehicles, which may include use of various cleaning products and frequent bending, crouching, and reaching
◦ Significant time spent outdoors in various weather, including sun, rain, wind, snow, cold, and heat. Weather conditions are monitored for safety as needed
