Job Description

All Ontario Recycling ( AOR) has been hauling scrap metal for more than 30 years. Operating throughout Ontario, we are the leading supplier to the largest steel mills and other end users of scrap metal in the province. All Ontario Recycling has built a strong business culture based on key values of honesty, integrity and teamwork that govern what we will do to meet our customer’s metal recycling needs.

This position will require the successful candidate to be able to travel on-the-road from Monday-Friday with hotel accommodations as well as food allowance. This position will also involve working within one of AOR scrap yards when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist press operator in various duties
  • Shoveling and raking the ground
  • Picking up loose car parts and debris from cars being pressed
  • Service equipment

Physical Aspect:

  • Bending
  • Crouching
  • Lifting
  • Pushing
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Valid G License
  • Clean Drivers Abstract
  • Ability to use various power tools
  • Must be able to travel 5 days a week - carpooling available
  • Experience in a scrap yard is an asset
