Inspector preparation a comprehensive service activity in which vehicles are prepared for official inspection so that they pass without problems.
Fault diagnosis: Use of modern self-diagnostics to read error codes of control units (engine, ABS, airbags).
Brake and chassis inspection: Testing the effectiveness of brakes on cylinders, checking axle clearances, shock absorbers and the condition of the exhaust system.
Emissions measurement: Checking the condition of exhaust gases in petrol and diesel engines (preparation for future authorization for emission measurement).
Geometry and light adjustment: Setting the correct wheel geometry and adjusting the inclination of the headlights.
Troubleshooting: Final repair of all detected deficiencies that could be the reason for failure at the MOT.
Common basic service tasks:
Regular service: Changing engine oil, operating fluids, air, cabin and fuel filters.
Brake system repairs: Replacing worn brake pads, discs, rotors, brake calipers and handbrake cables.
Chassis service: Replacing shock absorbers, springs, steering knuckles, arms, stabilizer bars and wheel bearings.
Engine parts repairs: Replacing spark plugs, glow plugs, accessory belts, water pumps or leaking seals.
Tire service: Changing tires, balancing wheels and repairing punctures.
