Job Description

Developing the BIW assembly process flow diagram, strategies for the locator drawing and measurement points for the BIW components and Assemblies. Capturing all the AFD/LD/MP changes/updates from the CFT meetings and converting the same to mark up for the CAD creation team. Planning the Initial release of LDs and MPs based on the program glidepath

Monitors product for changes Which would affect locators or MP’s
Supports LD/MP meetings, Processes locator/MP changes from the locator meetings
Writes WLRR’s for each component and assembly change and sends to GME CAD team to update the LD files
Disseminates locator info to checking fixture group, CMM and template group
Completes full body MP’s for meeting with the launch team. Saves time by having a file started based on surrogate models.
Monitors tool position to establish which net should be in the LD file.
Updates tracker daily to be used for Glide path and program status review
Tracks and completes punch and pin calculations so all parties are pinning the same way
Reviews the CCP to make sure no cuts are falling on welds etc.
Maintains the Assembly flow diagram including tool position and station numbers.
Keep the latest Tracking document and AFDs in EDMS/other site for supplier source.
Raise required WLRR/TRR for MP affected Components or Assembly to initiate the WBDM template updates.
Ensure past learnings are implemented in programs.
Monitor the programs are meeting the program timeline and track the status through KMR (Key metrics Review).

Education Qualification- Diploma / B. Tech/ B.E
No. of Years of Experience- 5 - 10 years
Professional Exposure- Knowledge in BIW Stamping/Body shop/BCE VOME Launch/CMM/Metrology/Fixture design.

Functional/Technical Skills
Strong written and verbal English capabilities.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with CLL/DCE.
Good analytical capabilities.
Proficient in PC-based software (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).
