Job Description

This position is responsible for the cleaning, inspection and presentation of all returned vehicles. Helping to move cars to and from the city office, panel shop, service agents and firestone as required.
The workshop is to be kept tidy, safe and presentable at all times.

As a groomer you will from time to time be required to work unsupervised ensuring that all grooming functions are actioned to a high standard during your shift. You will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are made available to the front desk and town office for rent in a timely manner and for overseeing the safe installation of ski racks, chains and child safety seats. You will also ensure that all vehicles and buildings are secured at the end of your shift.

Other specific duties include:

• Washing and drying vehicle exteriors including tyres and wheel arches
• Vacuuming vehicle interiors, and cleaning carpets and upholstery
• Applying cleaning agents to remove stains for vehicle interiors
• Washing and polishing vehicle windows inside and out
• Emptying and cleaning compartments in vehicles
