Job Description

Seeking an experienced sailing team to join a 56-foot world-cruising yacht in Australia and complete the remaining half of a worldwide circumnavigation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a captain/engineer and cook/stew to cruise off the beaten path and explore exciting corners of the globe.

The ideal candidates will have previous experience running a similar-sized yacht and will be confident, capable, and passionate about maintaining and operating a performance-cruising yacht to high standards.

Qualities Desired in the Captain/Engineer:

• YM Ocean = essential
• Confident troubleshooting and maintaining systems on board
• Experience running a similar-size sailing yacht

Qualities Desired in the Cook/Stew:

• An interest in creating healthy, family-style meals
• Previous sailing experience on similar-sized sailing yachts
• Willing to assist on deck and the interior as needed

Qualities Desired in the Team:

• Experience running similar-sized yachts together
• Self-motivated, professional and discreet
• Willing to help out in all areas on board in a collaborative environment

• Worldwide

Start Date & Location:

• Mid-September 2026, Australia (alternatively, early October in Indonesia)

Salary range:

• €8,500 - €9,000 D.O.E per month for the team
