Capital & Statistical Regulatory Reporting Manager | Flexible Hybrid Model

Our client is a successful international bank seeking to hire a Manager for their Capital & Statistical Regulatory Reporting team in Dublin City.

As a Capital & Statistical Reporting Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of regulatory reports to Senior Management and CBI. You will advise the management on matters of regulatory compliance, business strategies, internal policies and procedures while driving continuous improvements.

This role offers a lot of visibility collaborating closely with senior management in shaping the future of financial reporting and compliance of the organisation.

The Role:

• Oversee the preparation and submission of capital and statistical reports in adherence to regulatory guidelines
• Responsible for capital planning, forecasting and monitoring,
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Risk Management and Treasury, to gather necessary data for reporting purposes.
• Minimise the level of manual intervention in the regulatory reporting process.
• Providing detailed analysis and variance explanations of all capital and statistical returns
• Analyze and interpret complex financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and adapt reporting processes accordingly.
• Provides expertise to strategic business initiatives and impact assessments of regulatory changes
• Lead a team, providing guidance, training, and fostering a culture of excellence and a high-performance environment
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance reporting systems and processes.
• Provide insights to senior management on capital utilisation, risk exposure, and other key financial metrics.

The Person:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
• Experience in a Capital | Statistical |Regulatory Reporting and ambition to step up to Manager level
• Excellent technical knowledge of regulations
• Ability to lead a team
