Family Office Services Specialist – Capital Partners
Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Family Office Services Specialist to support Capital Partners.
In this role, you will be supporting four key areas: consolidated reporting, capital call services, bill pay, and wealth projections. You will be supported by experienced colleagues and provided with opportunities to build technical expertise while gradually taking on increased responsibility.
Depending on your assignment, you will assist with data backfills and reconciliations, asset classification, payment processing and tracking, system issue resolution, and various ad‑hoc projects. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of tasks while learning on the job.
To be successful, you should be detail‑oriented, data‑driven, and willing to ask questions and seek feedback. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about developing new skills, works well with internal teams, and understands when and how to escalate issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Consolidated Reporting
Support monthly private asset reconciliation
Assist with document backfills for clients’ external private investments
Perform asset classification
Support historical data conversions for external accounts based on statements and transactional data
Capital Call Services
Track upcoming capital call payments
Assist with processing capital calls using internal systems
Support external private fund wire instruction fraud prevention processes
Bill Pay
Process bills in Bill.com
Perform daily payment reconciliation between Bill.com and internal accounting systems
Support vendor information reconciliation between systems
eMoney
Assist with client creation issue resolution
Perform asset classification
Capital Market Assumption Data reconciliation
Desired Qualifications:
BA or equivalent
1–3 years of relevant experience (including internships or entry‑level roles)
Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in a fast‑paced environment
Self‑motivated and able to work independently with guidance and support
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to identify issues and escalate appropriately
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Demonstrated risk awareness and ability to recognize potential red flags
Proficiency in Excel is required
Working hours: between 9-00 and 17-30 (with lunch break)
