Administrative Assistant I

This as an Independent work assisting management in the coordination of administrative tasks and/or assignments which are complex in nature and very broad in objective with integration of diverse functions.

Examples of work performed.

Responsible for all receptionist duties.

Responsible for all travel related matters for the staff, such as booking air fares, hotel accommodations and coordination with the various correctional institutions for inmate visits by the investigators and attorneys.

Maintains current travel information in the state’s travel Management System (STMS) and the state’s Business Office Management System (BOMS) and learning any new systems being implemented by the state such as the Florida PALM and data warehouse.

Performs special assignments.

Performs related work as required.

Minimum Qualifications.

Three years of progressively responsible Secretarial and/or clerical experience, or a combination of training and experience.
