Capex & Technical Projects Engineer

The Capex & Technical Projects Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing capital expenditure (CAPEX) and technical projects that support the factory's operational and business objectives. This role manages engineering projects from conceptualization through implementation, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, quality, and timeline requirements. The position works closely with internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to develop engineering solutions, drive project efficiency, and ensure compliance with local and global standards.

As a Capex & Technical Projects Engineer, you will:

  • Manage assigned CAPEX and technical projects, including planning, scheduling, coordination, execution, and monitoring activities.
  • Develop project parameters, timelines, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective engineering solutions.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and team performance while providing regular project status updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project execution and improve project management practices.
  • Review engineering activities and implement corrective actions to address project challenges and technical issues.
  • Develop technical specifications and requirements for equipment, systems, and infrastructure needed for projects.
  • Establish project performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and quality monitoring methods to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, company policies, legal requirements, and safety regulations throughout project execution.
  • Prepare reports, project forecasts, and performance analyses to support project governance and decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or any related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering, technical projects, CAPEX management, or project management roles.
  • Strong project management and project coordination capabilities.
  • Experience managing engineering projects within a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
  • Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of local and global engineering standards and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and compliance.
