Description

The CAPEX Sourcing Intern supports end-to-end procurement activities for capital equipment, spare parts, and engineering projects within semiconductor manufacturing. The role provides exposure to sourcing, supplier management, logistics coordination, cost analysis, and procurement operations. The intern works closely with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and suppliers to support project execution, delivery management, data analytics, and process improvement initiatives. The position also offers opportunities to develop dashboards, automation tools, and cost-saving projects while gaining practical experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management.

Responsibilities

On the Job:

• Support CAPEX sourcing and procurement activities.
• Prepare RFQs and consolidate supplier quotations.
• Assist with PR/PO processing and order tracking.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries and logistics activities.
• Maintain procurement trackers and reports.
• Support cost-saving and supplier management initiatives

Project-Based:

• Enhance spending and savings analysis.
• Develop dashboards and automation tools.
• Support supplier performance reviews and asset disposal activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders globally.

Required Experience and Skills

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering, or any related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.

Desired Experience and Skills

• Knowledge of either SAP, Ariba, Power BI, or Power Automate is an advantage.
• Exposure to automation or digital transformation projects is an advantage.
• Good understanding and experience with data analytics and dashboard development.
• Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
• Basic understanding of Semiconductor manufacturing or high-tech industry exposure.
