  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to support procurement planning and project execution.
  • Monitor market trends, supply chain risks, and industry developments to inform sourcing strategies.
  • Support sustainability objectives by incorporating environmental, social, and economic considerations into sourcing decisions.
  • Deliver cost savings and value improvement initiatives that support Drax's business goals.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field with at least 5 years of procurement or sourcing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and 10+ years of relevant procurement experience.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing purchase orders and working within ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Maximo, Dynamics AX, JDE, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and basic accrual accounting.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent project management, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results.
