Job Description

Your Contribution

You will support indirect procurement activities across Southeast Asia by managing non-production material and service sourcing, coordinating with internal stakeholders and suppliers, supporting Japan-related purchasing activities, and driving cost, quality, and delivery performance in line with MAHLE purchasing standards.

  • Manage procurement activities for indirect materials and services across assigned categories and MAHLE plants.
  • Support purchasing activities for Japan-related projects and suppliers, including communication in Japanese.
  • Execute local implementation of global and regional sourcing strategies, agreements, and supplier panels.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives across plants.
  • Maintain vendor master, part master, contracts, and purchasing data in SAP.
  • Ensure compliance with MAHLE purchasing procedures, policies, and approval guidelines.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to support demand planning and purchasing requirements.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships while supporting issue resolution related to supply, invoicing, and supplier performance.

Your Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in Non-Production Material (NPM) Purchasing. Automotive industry experience is an advantage.
  • Business-level Japanese communication skills (JLPT N2 required; N1 preferred).
  • Native Thai speaker with strong spoken and written English skills.
  • Experience with SAP Material Management (MM) module.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work at MAHLE Services (Thailand) Ltd. – Kingkaew Soi 33, Samut Prakan, with a hybrid working environment.
