Job Description

The Kraft Heinz Company is looking for a CAPEX Associate Manager who will prepare and execute capital projects, in addition to managing cost estimation and cost control. In this role, the CAPEX Associate Manager will lead end-to-end CAPEX initiatives from scope development and budgeting through execution, reporting, and closeout, while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget to support operational and strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute capital projects in addition to cost estimation and cost control

  • Follow up CAPEX projects deliverables in terms of:

    • Implement CAPEX projects as per the agreed plan initiated at the beginning of the year

    • Deliver all projects as per the agreed scope & within the approved budget

    • Make the Purchase Orders of all the Capital Projects in SRM

    • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information, trends and recommending actions

    • Delivery of cash flow forecast/targets

    • Support start up activities

  • Prepare CAPEX Proposals and required documents

  • Ensure all projects are fulfilling HSE requirements & Egyptian code (if applicable)

  • Collect the forecast of all Capital Projects, adjust it and charge into 4Site

  • Contributes in the identification of priorities, implementation of plans, project schedules, permitting, training of contractors, and any other activities to ensure effective implementation

  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly reports showing statistical data regarding the project/spending status

  • Carry out feasibility studies on manufacturing, operational improvement, etc

  • Contact with external and internal capital project customers

  • Coordinate with suppliers to support the development of capital engineering designs

  • Compliance with all responsibilities related to occupational safety, health and environmental protection specified by the Kraft Heinz

  • Cooperate with other departments for proposed improvements within the available budget

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical or mechatronics)

  • 5 to 7 years of experience – Preferable in FMCG

  • Knowledge in AutoCAD, project management is required

  • Microsoft Office (word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent Command of both spoken and written Arabic and English
