Role: Capacity Planning _Frames & Mechanism Commodity
Build a resilient supply chain for the Automotive Division through Long term Capacity planning and mapping:
a.Capacity assessment & planning for existing supply chain parts based on 3 years LTP.
- Major systems, Chassis, Lower control Arms, Linkages , RTB, K Frame, Suspended Padels, Window Regulator, Sunroof, Wiper, Latches, Screw Jack, Brake cable, Wipers , Screw Jack etc
-Shared capacity asessment, Action Planning for Capacity Shortfall mitigation for Frames & Mechanism Doamin
-Enabling creation of required infrastructure at supplier end to meet demand through partnering with SSU/CDMM/PD/SCM monitoring at suppliers end
-Part development process complete know how is must . Ensure kick-off part development with close monitoring till SOP
b.SSU / SCM / SQE vulnerable supplier alternatives
c.New projects C/O parts capacity mapping (across Platforms cross commodities)
'Drive Short term Capacity Planning & supply chain challenges mitigation:
a. Identification of short-term challenges with Supply chain
b. Capacity enhancement on current parts
c. Quality related supplies issues (alternate sourcing / FTG corrections with current suppliers)
d. Ensure kick-off part development with close monitoring till SOP
Ensure Close Monitoring of high risk projects requiring sharp ramp up to meet business demands
Drive capacity augmentation, part availability with supply chain & SSU to ensure ramp-up
De-risking supply chain - Identification of risk in supply chain, working along with SSU to identify alternate sources, Creating Capex budgets in line with the same, enabling VOBs & kick off capacity creation for scope parts
Digitization - Drive simplicity & efficiency through Digital Capacity Planning and monitoring (Implementation Capacity Planning tool)
Tool life monitoring at supplier end

- RFQ, Quote Synthesis, VOB communication with SSU,
- Arriving the Establishing FTG (Facilities, Tooling & Gauges) at supplier process to ensure products are delivered as per requirements
- Development & Deliveryof components across Chassis, Lower control Arms, Linkages , RTB, K Frame, Suspended Padels, Window Regulator, Sunroof, Wiper, Latches, Screw Jack, Brake cable, Wipers etc , through the development of FTG for capacity creation and Ramp up
- Product development through APQP, M&M requirements, MPDS process.
- Identify and eliminate the capacity constraints as per volume demand using method study tools (Man-Machine charts, deciding the online – offline strategy, low cost automation etc.).
- SAP handelling for PR/PO/ Material management.
