We are looking for a motivated Capacity Planning Intern to join our Capacity Planning team.

In this role, you will support the team in optimizing the GEO resource allocation and performance mapping. You will work closely with Capacity Planning Engineers, Commercial, Operations, and other technical stakeholders, gaining hands‑on exposure to real operational and strategic challenges in satellite communications.

This internship is an excellent opportunity for a student eager to develop practical skills in satellite systems, capacity management, and cross‑functional collaboration within a global space organization.

Who You Are:

You are a curious and analytical student with an interest in satellite communications and network planning. You enjoy working in a team environment, are eager to learn, and are comfortable handling technical data and analyses with guidance from experienced engineers.

What You’ll Do:

As a Capacity Planning Intern, you will support the team in the following activities:

  • Work closely with capacity planning engineers defining space‑segment capacity requirements to support customer services
  • Maintain under supervision the consistency of technical parameters and internal documentation
  • Support technical analyses related to capacity allocation and service setup
  • Contribute to link budget analyses and ground‑segment equipment considerations
  • Participate in transversal projects, data analysis, and process or tool improvements
  • Interact with Commercial, Operations, and Engineering teams as part of daily activities

What You’ll Need:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, or related
  • Interest in capacity planning, satellite operations, and space systems
  • Ability to work with data, tools, and technical documentation
  • MS Excel, VBA and Python are considered a plus
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Fluent English (French or other languages are a plus)
