In this role, you'll:
be working as part of a team delivering data literacy uplift, stakeholder engagement, and capability development across the Safety, Policy, Environment and Regulation (SPER) division. You will combine strong data analytics understanding with L&D/ Training expertise to design and deliver targeted training programs, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and empower teams to confidently use self‑service analytics tools and data products.
You will build, deliver and continuously improve training, engagement approaches, and capability interventions that drive self‑service analytics adoption, improved productivity, and evidence‑based decision‑making in a diverse, multi‑stakeholder environment with varying levels of data literacy and technical confidence. About you
You bring a strong data analytics foundation—built through experience in data & analytics functions, IT, BI/analytics training, public sector environments, or capability uplift programs—combined with demonstrated capability in designing engaging, fit‑for‑purpose training solutions.
Your analytical understanding enables you to translate complex data concepts into practical learning that helps stakeholders confidently use BI tools and adopt self‑service practices.Your strengths in stakeholder engagement, influence, and relationship-building mean you can identify capability needs, overcome adoption barriers, and partner effectively across SPER to champion best‑practice data literacy approaches.
You’re skilled at navigating different levels of data maturity and can encourage cultural shifts that lead to measurable uplift, improved analytics capability, and stronger collaboration.
You’re recognised as a clear and adaptable communicator, experienced in delivering data analytics training, using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and building data literacy. You know how to engage stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and influence behaviours that support the transition toward greater self‑service analytics adoption.
