Job Description

**

Responsible for leading and supervising the can manufacturing process, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.

Job Responsibilities**

* Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production team, including machine operators and general laborers.
* Monitor production processes to ensure optimal performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
* Conduct regular quality checks on cans produced, ensuring compliance with company specifications and industry standards.
* Train new team members on operational procedures, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
* Maintain and troubleshoot front-end machinery and equipment, performing minor repairs and coordinating with maintenance for major issues.
* Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing all health and safety regulations and promoting safe work practices.
* Track and report on production metrics, including output, downtime, and material usage.
* Collaborate with other team leaders and departments to optimize overall production flow and achieve company objectives.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
* Manage team schedules, attendance, and performance reviews.

Job Qualifications**

* High School Diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
* Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in can production or a similar high-volume industry.
* Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role is essential.
* Strong understanding of production processes, quality control principles, and safety regulations.
* Excellent mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on machinery.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting and data tracking.
* Fluency in Greek and English is highly desirable.
