We are seeking a Canning Line Operator to maintain and operate the canning line equipment. This position reports to the Production Supervisor. INX makes the ink on 95% of all beer and beverage cans manufactured in the United States. We will train the right candidate on the job and on TPM activities. As a Canning Line Operator, you will be:

  • Responsible for the canning operation
  • Transporting material to the canning line press-out
  • Following proper instructions when operating the canning machine
  • Filling cans as instructed on process orders
  • Transporting the tub to the tub washer for cleaning when canning is completed
  • Preparing containers and labels

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Have good attendance and punctuality
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:

  • Production experience
