Client & Product Summer Associate (2027) - Los Angeles

I can succeed as a Client & Product Summer Associate at Capital Group.

As a Client & Product Summer Associate with Capital Group, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting one of the teams that helps connect Capital Group's investment capabilities with clients and drive business growth. Through meaningful work, coaching, mentorship, and collaboration with professionals across the firm, you'll strengthen your analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills while developing a deeper understanding of the investment management industry.

The Summer Associate Program provides a 10 week experience within one of the business areas represented in the full-time Client & Product Track, a two-year rotational experience that provides exposure to multiple client, product, marketing, and business functions through rotational assignments and professional development opportunities. High-performing Summer Associates may be considered for conversion into the full-time Client & Product Track of the Capital Group Rotational Program upon graduation.

What You'll Do

Summer Associates are placed on a specific team for the duration of the program, providing meaningful experience within one of Capital Group's client and product-focused functions. Opportunities may be available in areas such as:

• Sales & Relationship Management: Support client engagement, business development, relationship management, and client service initiatives
• Business Management: Contribute to strategic planning, business operations, organizational effectiveness, and execution of key priorities
• Product Strategy: Support product positioning, competitive analysis, market insights, and long-term product strategy
• Marketing: Contribute to marketing campaigns, client communications, content development, events, and brand initiatives
• Insights & Analytics: Leverage research, business intelligence, and data analysis to support decision-making and business outcomes
• Sales Enablement & Client Support: Help develop the tools, resources, processes, and capabilities that enable teams to serve clients effectively
• Additional Client & Product Functions: Support teams that drive client engagement, product development, and business growth across the firm

Across these teams, Summer Associates may contribute to strategic initiatives, conduct market, product, and client research, analyze business trends and insights, develop recommendations for stakeholders, and support activities that help enhance client experiences and drive business growth. Summer Associates also participate in professional development and networking opportunities throughout the program.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking individuals who are relationship-oriented, analytical, collaborative, and excited to help connect Capital Group's investment capabilities with client needs and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0, 3.75/5.0, or equivalent
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Pay Rate is $31.00/hr

Summer location: Downtown Los Angeles office

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
