• Job Title: Campground Cleaner

• Reports To: Hotel Manager
• Pay rate: $16-$19/hr
• Location: Deer Haven Campground

About Property:

Deer Haven Campground, part of Cooperstown All Star Village, offers a family-friendly camping experience for guests visiting the area for youth baseball tournaments. The campground features RV sites, cabins, and amenities designed to provide a comfortable and convenient stay in a scenic outdoor setting.

The Campground Cleaner will clean, restock, and maintain cabins, campground owned RVs and public areas in accordance with all cleaning procedures, standards, safety, security rules and regulations to ensure guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Checks the inventory of cleaning cabinet and adds any necessary supplies.

• Clean and sanitize cabins and campground owned RVs

• Clean and sanitize campground restrooms, shower facilities, and common areas regularly throughout the day

• Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap

• Remove trash and recycling from designated areas and transport to disposal locations

• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces including fire pits, picnic areas, and walkways

• Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly

• Assist with light groundskeeping tasks as needed

• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

• Provide friendly and helpful interactions with guests when encountered

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required

• Ability to work independently and efficiently

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Reliable and punctual

Preferred:

• Sufficient education and literacy are needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.

• Ability to communicate in basic English preferred

Working Conditions / Special Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.

• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.

• Willingness to work a rotation seven-day work cycle.
