Established in 2007, Feeding San Diego rescues surplus food from local and national food donors before it goes to waste and gets it to people facing hunger in San Diego County. This is a rare opportunity to help shape and execute a transformational campaign that will strengthen Feeding San Diego’s impact for decades to come. The Campaign Manager will be the connective tissue that keeps the campaign organized, energized, and moving forward.
The Campaign Project Manager will play a central role in coordinating and driving the success of Feeding San Diego’s multi-year $50 million Capital Campaign. This position is responsible for managing the campaign’s day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment between staff, board members, campaign volunteers, and external partners.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive project manager who thrives in a mission-driven environment and can keep a complex, high-stakes campaign moving forward with clarity and precision. This role does not focus on frontline fundraising or solicitation; instead, it ensures the infrastructure, systems, and coordination needed for campaign success.

INTERACTION
This position will interact closely with the CEO, Board members, the senior leadership team, staff consultants/contractors, private sector donors, and corporate representatives. The position also requires frequent interaction with all FSD staff and volunteers of our community.
EDUCATION/YEARS EXPERIENCE
3–5 years of experience in project management, development operations, campaign management, or related fields. Experience supporting a capital campaign or major fundraising initiative preferred.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Must have reliable transportation and possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license, a satisfactory driving record, including proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage and insurability under the Agency’s insurance carrier standards.

$75,000 - $80,000; Hybrid M-F; 2 days in office, 3 days remote; with occasional travel to other sites & work in evenings or weekends

Every $1 donated helps provide two meals to people facing hunger.
