The YMCA of Orange County is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We are actively seeking a reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented individual for a Camp Registrar position in Wrightwood, CA.

This role is an opportunity to directly impact the experience of campers and their families by ensuring a smooth and welcoming registration process. This position will look to foster genuine connections, practice exceptional hospitality, and create a safe, positive, and enriching environment where every interaction is meaningful. The Camp Registrar serves as a central point of contact, managing registration, coordinating paperwork, and supporting families so every interaction reflects our commitment to care and quality.

Location: YMCA Camp E.L.K. in Wrightwood

Work Schedule: This is a seasonal position. Looking for someone with immediate availability to work through August 2026.

Purpose & Impact:

  • Ensure Accurate Enrollment:
    • ​​​​​Process camper registrations, maintain complete documentation, and manage camper databases to ensure accurate and efficient enrollment.
  • Deliver Exceptional Service:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for families providing clear communication, timely updates, and compassionate support throughout the camper experience.
  • Ensure Operational Excellence:
    • Maintain accurate records, process payments, and track enrollment to keep camp operations organized and efficient.
  • Collaborate for Success:
    • Work closely with camp directors and staff to coordinate processes, support outreach efforts, and ensure seamless camp operations that strengthens connection.
  • Support Camp Readiness:
    • Assist with camp preparation, organize materials, and maintain accurate camper information—including medical needs and dietary restrictions—to promote a safe and enriching environment.
  • Official
    will be provided during the interview.

Minimum

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Age: 18+ years old.
  • Experience & Essential Skills:
    • Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency with computer software and databases, including registration systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certifications: First Aid and CPR certifications required (training provided and paid for by the YMCA).
