This position is ideal for students pursuing careers in education, social work, recreation, or the sport industry.

Job Duties

  • Work with children ages 6–12 years old

  • Implement and support various program activities, including sports and games, aquatics, creative arts, and more

  • Lead a group of 8–10 campers through daily activities and transitions

  • Collaborate with camp supervisors to develop ideas and address concerns, including behavior issues or bullying

  • Build positive relationships with campers and support their social development

  • Work with fellow counselors tomaintaina cohesive and supportive camp environment

  • Eat lunch with campers and helpmaintaina clean and organized eating area

  • Demonstrate enthusiasm to encourage camper participation

  • Instruct campers on emergency procedures and ensure accountability during drills or emergencies

  • Manage daily sign‑in and sign‑out, ensuring release only to approved individuals

  • Encourage respect for camp equipment, facilities, andpersonal property

  • Attend weekly all‑staff meetings

  • Serve as a positive role model bydemonstratingcleanliness, punctuality, teamwork, sportsmanship, and good manners

Work Schedule: 

Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

$14.00
