The Camp Nurse works cooperatively with program managers and the Warm Beach Camp Ministries Nurse Program On-Site Coordinator to deliver quality health care for attendees of Warm Beach Camp (WBC) programs, in concert with the WBC Nursing Policies and Procedures Manual and WBC Medical Standing Orders/Protocols. The Camp Nurse operates professionally within the scope of his/her own license while under the authority of the attending physical providing the Medical Standing Orders/Protocols. The person in this position shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior towards colleagues, guests and supervisors. Regular attendance is essential for this position.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. On occasion, the camping program may require counselors to sleep outdoors with their campers. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high.

WBC is conveniently located both one hour north of Seattle, and south of Bellingham.
